This option module enables seamless integration with building management systems. This ensures easy integration with Control Techniques AC drives.

The Control Techniques SI-BACnet IP option module provides high-speed communication based on Ethernet. This is applicable with the flexible Commander C range and the H300 HVAC inverter, among others. The result is a scalable set of functions and performance levels to meet the needs for various HVACr applications. This allows multiple Control Techniques controlled applications within a building to be integrated into a centralized control system. The H300 variable speed drive for HVAC applications has BACnet MS/TP onboard as standard.

Leveraging the advanced capabilities of BACnet IP improves energy efficiency. This contributes to sustainable and cost-effective operation of building systems. Control Techniques controllers can drive a wide range of induction and permanent magnet motors, with the most efficient motors meeting IE5. AC drives controlled with SI-BACnet IP contribute to overall energy savings in buildings .

SI-BACnet IP enables user commands and provides motor data references to the controller. It also provides process values or set points to the PID. In addition, it is possible to receive status information back from the controller while analog and digital I/O can be easily monitored and controlled. Fault resetting, together with the Connect PC commissioning tool, is possible.

Key features supported include data sharing using multiple read and write commands, remote device management with password protection and time synchronization.
