The 23e edition of the Precisiebeurs, the trade fair where one meets and discovers the top players and solutions in the field of high- and ultraprecision technology, is again approaching. On November 13 and 14, the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch will once again be the central meeting place for the international precision technology industry. "What the Dutch precision technology industry means to international high-tech companies can serve as an example for many other countries and companies. This is why we are putting the Precision Fair on the map this year with the theme International Cooperation." Thus Bart Kooijmans, Program Manager of the Precision Fair.
From the smartphone to space telescopes, medical devices and chip machines...machines and devices are becoming faster, smarter and more sophisticated. However, developing these requires complex technological solutions where measuring, manufacturing and constructing to ever smaller and more accurate tolerances is essential. The complexity is such that these solutions can only be achieved through collaboration. Not only with other (technical) disciplines, but also with many other specialized companies, education and science.
Sharing knowledge and working together, even on an international level, literally pushes the boundaries of technology. That is what the 23rd edition of the Precision Fair is all about: pushing boundaries through international cooperation.
Over 350 exhibitors from home and abroad will display their most advanced technologies and products on the show floor. From precision tools and measuring instruments to automation solutions and high-tech materials, the exhibition floor features a variety of groundbreaking innovations.
Fixed feature on the exhibition floor is the central networking arena, where professionals from across the industry gather to network. In addition, here one can easily connect with more than 30 industry associations, educational institutions, scientific institutes, major scientific projects, innovation projects and student teams. Among the following parties can be found here: Einstein Telescope, Big Science, Euspen, VDMA, Sirris, NEN, EPIC Photonics, Digital Industry Boost (collaboration Fontys, Summa Collega, Brainport Development and Mikrocentrum), DSPE, RVO, TU Delft, TU/e, FPT-Vimag, Project MARCH, AeroDelft, and Superbike Twente.
During the Precision Fair, one meets the top representatives from industry, manufacturers, educational institutions, government agencies, technical universities, science and incubator programs. During two days one discovers high and ultra precision technological solutions based on the following themes: Mechatronic Engineering & Systems, Metrology, Vacuum & Clean, Micro Processing & Motion, Laser & Photonics, Production for High Precision
With about 1.5 months to go, organizer Mikrocentrum can already announce some great highlights.
