Plastics fair celebrates 25th edition

A quarter century the stage for innovative, smart and sustainable solutions in the plastics and rubber industry

The Kunststoffenbeurs, the trade fair for innovative, smart and sustainable solutions with plastics and rubber, will celebrate its 25th edition on September 18 and 19 in the Brabanthallen, 's-Hertogenbosch. Since 1999, the fair has brought together supply and demand to promote knowledge sharing, cooperation and networking. "These goals are still the basis in 2024. The plastics and rubber industry is constantly evolving and the annual need to meet remains. We are proud that after 25 years the Plastics Fair is still the meeting place for professionals in this industry." said Charlotte de Jong, Program Manager Plastics Fair.

Over the years, the Kunststoffenbeurs has become the Benelux trade fair for professionals working for companies that use plastics and rubber. From mechanical engineering and branding (of finished products/consumer goods) to product design, packaging, recycling, medical technology and education and science. The fair offers a platform where people can discover and share the latest developments, innovations and knowledge in two days.

Trade show floor with 200 plastics and rubber specialists

The exhibition floor offers many opportunities to efficiently and effectively connect with 220 exhibitors who can help with plastics and rubber-related challenges. These include injection molders, toolmakers, builders/suppliers of machinery and peripherals, engineering and design firms as well as specialists in the fields of recycling, sustainability, automation, digitization, tooling, additive manufacturing, analysis, testing and various other production techniques with plastics and rubber.

hema: Endless possibilities of circular plastics

Companies in the plastics and rubber industry produce a wide variety of parts, modules and finished products that are indispensable in packaging, consumer products and machinery, among others. Thanks to its unique and versatile properties, plastics are versatile: in color, shape and weight, but they can also be combined with other materials and used in many production techniques.

Charlotte de Jong: "It is important for both the plastics and rubber industry and their (potential) customers and partners to show that there are many possibilities with plastics and rubber, especially in the circular field. This is why we are again putting a high priority on reuse and recycling with this year's fair, as well as on reducing energy emissions. For end users, brand owners and technical professionals, the Plastics Fair offers a lot of inspiration with great examples, both in tangible products on the exhibition floor and in stories of experience in the congress. That is why this year we are focusing on the theme 'Endless possibilities of circular plastics'."

Congress and exhibition floor full of highlights
