With the launch of the new Powerscan 9600 line, the ability to use the familiar yellow wireless handheld scanner in an RS485 "roaming" network disappears in certain cases.

We realize that for users with an application that uses network "roaming" and host communication based on ESC codes, this can be of great impact.

Besides advising you to guarantee the continuity of your installation by installing spare materials, we can help you with a hardware replacement where your host communication (and thus your application) based on ESC codes can remain intact. This solution is based on an Android barcode scanner to install 'Powerscan emulation app' and a 'black-box' in which the ESC code conversion to and from the host application takes place.
